Once you know you can get or already have captured your data, get the TradeMatcher program which will handle the truly hard work. If you haven't already purchased and downloaded the program, now is the time to do so. It's available online from a link at www.tradematcher.com
Once the purchase transaction is completed online, the software is available for immediate download.
When you download it you will be downloading a self-extracting zip file which will contain the application and a folder with a number of potential scripts for the various brokerages. Go ahead and move the TradeMatcher application to the project folder you initially created on your desktop. If you have downloaded it elsewhere, simply move it to the project folder or copy and paste it into that folder.
Remember, in a nutshell, that project folder is going to ultimately contain the TradeMatcher, your data file and a script file to supply the directives to the TradeMatcher.
